Global music icon GRACE JONES is coming to the Pula Arena on August 8, 2025
On the spectacular stage of the magnificent Arena, in co-production with Adria Events and Music Time, the Adria Summer Festival 2025 will open with a concert by the American icon Grace Jones.
This Jamaican-American songwriter, singer, actress, model, and pop culture icon has been on the scene for over 50 years! Her style blends reggae, funk, post-punk, and electro, and her fearless and unconventional artistry has inspired many – from Madonna to Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
Her brilliant performances from the album Nightclubbing (1981) are still considered masterpieces, while Slave to the Rhythm (1985) remains her most famous hit – a powerful fusion of funk, art-pop, and experimental production.
Visitors to the Adria Summer Festival will have the unique chance to experience the first solo concert in the Arena by the American diva, whose striking and powerful performances embody a timeless artistic journey spanning decades. Her influence has been recognized by both VH1 and Billboard, which rank her among the world’s most significant music artists.
